New York Times 360, Part II

The second update from HI-SEAS Mission V is live on the New York Times 360 website.  I haven’t been able to watch the video yet (waiting on a data transfer from Earth to sMars for a copy), but I have the link to share with you folks.  Enjoy!

**Edit: I watched a copy of the video.  The song I’m playing is Thieves by She & Him.  A previous crew member left a ukulele for us, and I’ve been teaching myself to play since the beginning of the mission.

  1. It’s a great article! Found it on the front page of the NYT website earlier this morning. Thanks for sharing. I imagine it must be strange but cool to see yourself in the news. 🙂

  3. Awww, man! First I find out you speak French and now I find out I could have sent you my old mountain dulcimer to keep you company. C’est la Vie, ma Cher! Je t’aime! P.S. That’s the best I can manage “a Francais.”

    1. Well, I heard you used to be quite handy at German! I bought an old mountain dulcimer in college actually, I’m hoping to stop neglecting it, but for some reason the ukulele clicked with me a lot more easily. Merci, Je t’aime tonton!
